Wet & dry pipe fire sprinkler installation

Systems designed for quick, effective suppression that limits damage and protects the people inside, whether your building is heated or Montana-cold.

Built to the drawings. Ready for the one time it matters.

A fire sprinkler system is only as good as its design and its install. We plan each system around your building's layout, occupancy and water supply, then install it to the approved drawings so it passes inspection and works the one time it has to.

Wet pipe systems, for heated buildings

In a wet pipe system the pipes are full of water under pressure. When fire heats a sprinkler head to its rated temperature, the glass bulb breaks and that head discharges immediately. Only the heads over the fire open, which keeps water damage down. Wet systems are the simplest and most reliable choice for offices, retail, schools, churches, apartments and any space that stays above freezing.

Dry pipe systems, for spaces that freeze

Montana winters rule out water-filled pipe in unheated areas. A dry pipe system holds pressurized air in the piping and keeps the water behind a dry pipe valve. When a head opens, the air escapes, the valve trips and water flows to the open heads. We install dry systems in parking garages, loading docks, attics, canopies and cold warehouses, and often pair them with a wet system in the heated part of the same building.

New construction, additions and retrofits

On new builds we work alongside your general contractor and schedule. In existing buildings we retrofit sprinklers when a change of use, a renovation or your insurer calls for it, routing pipe to avoid finished spaces where we can and planning the work around your operation.

Design-build, or install only

Bring us a concept and we'll take it through design and installation, or hand us engineered drawings and we'll supply the equipment and install. Either way, layouts are modeled in 3D with REVIT and BIM before pipe is cut. See design & design-build.

What's included

  • Plan review against your building's occupancy and hazard classification
  • Layout modeled in 3D with REVIT and BIM
  • Supply and installation of piping, risers, valves and sprinkler heads
  • Wet pipe, dry pipe or combined systems in one building
  • Pressure testing and the final inspection walkthrough
  • Ongoing inspection and maintenance after handover, if you want it

What it costs

Every quote follows a plan review, because the price depends on square footage, hazard class, the water supply and the system type. Bundle installation with ongoing inspection and save. Call 406-315-7666 or request a quote to get started.

How it works

From plans to a passed inspection.

  1. 01

    Plan review

We read your drawings, occupancy and hazard classification, and confirm what the code and your insurer require.

  2. 02

    Design

Layouts are modeled in 3D with REVIT and BIM so pipe routes clear structure and other trades before install day.

  3. 03

    Installation

Our crew installs to the approved drawings. Tony and Craig get on site to keep the job on plan.

  4. 04

    Testing & final inspection

We pressure-test the system and walk the final inspection until it passes.

  5. 05

    Ongoing inspection

Scheduled inspection, testing and maintenance keep the system ready and your records current.

Questions

Installation questions

How long does an installation take?
It depends on the building's size and whether it's new construction or a retrofit. After plan review we give you a schedule that fits your build or your business hours.
Can you add sprinklers to an existing building?
Yes. We retrofit systems when a change of use, a renovation or an insurer requires it, and plan the routing to keep disruption down.
Do I need wet pipe or dry pipe?
If every protected area stays above freezing, wet pipe is usually the answer. Unheated areas such as garages, docks and attics need dry pipe. Many buildings use both, and we'll tell you which after the plan review.
